Facebook or Microsoft: Who Has the Best Daily Scrum?
There are several papers on how to do distributed Scrum in a way that does not slow things down. You have to set up the Scrum properly or you will lose at least 50% of collocated velocity. Click on "Jeff Sutherland's Papers" on the right side of this page and look for papers with "Distributed Scrum" in the title.
I like the use of technology for the daily scrum as long as it adds value to the team. I prefer the whiteboard and stickies as it encourages interaction and is always in a state of NOW. I guess it depends... Would love to see google scrum teams in action.
